Women Returning to Work Scholarship
Returning to work after a career gap takes courage, and it takes resources. GFWC Florida believes that every woman who is ready to re-enter the workforce deserves support in getting there. Each year, we award scholarships to Florida women taking that step, whether they’re finishing a degree, gaining a certification, or building the skills for a new career chapter.
What this scholarship is for.
Scholarships are awarded annually to Florida women who are returning to the workforce after a career gap. Funds are distributed directly to the accepting institution, a college, university, vocational school, or accredited training program, and applied toward tuition, fees, or related educational costs.
This scholarship is funded by GFWC Florida member clubs and donors who believe that education doesn’t have an expiration date, and that a woman returning to work is an investment worth making.

Submit by March 1
Submit your completed application by the deadline of March 1, 2027. Late applications will not be considered. Award notifications will be sent by April 1, 2027.
