Becoming a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) Florida opens doors to a vibrant community of dedicated individuals passionate about volunteer service and community improvement. Membership provides access to a wealth of resources, including leadership training, development programs, and opportunities to participate in meaningful service projects. The GFWC Structure
At the heart of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) lies a vast network of dedicated members spanning across all 50 states and 14 countries. GFWC Florida proudly stands as a pillar within this global community, with 189 Clubs and 14 Districts contributing to our Federation's worldwide presence.
The GFWC Southern Region, one of eight regions within the Federation, plays a pivotal role in advancing our shared mission of community improvement through volunteer service. Encompassing Clubs in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Aruba, and Belize, the Southern Region boasts over 10,000 members dedicated to making a difference.
Our Membership Categories
We offer various membership categories to accommodate different interests and age groups:

Woman's Clubs
The largest portion of our membership, with over 7,500 members state-wide, focusing on a wide range of community service areas.
The Junior
Woman's Clubs
Engaging young women aged 18 and above in community service and leadership development.

Empowering young women in junior or senior high school to make a positive impact through service projects.
