The 1895 Society

Named for the year GFWC Florida was founded, the 1895 Society exists to preserve our Lakeland headquarters — the home of 130 years of Florida women’s history. The archives housed there document every convention, every president, every campaign our clubs have run since 1895. The 1895 Society was established during President Pat Keel’s administration in 2006–2008 and has grown ever since.
